HOMAGE TO
EGON SCHIELE

1982 - 1992

Art evolves, but some creations remain timeless. In the 1980s, I immersed myself in a mixed-media series, Homage to Egon Schiele, a body of work deeply influenced by Schiele’s raw intensity, expressive lines, and psychological depth. Though these pieces have been exhibited a few times in the U.S., they’ve largely remained unseen—until now.

Their recent rediscovery reminded me why they were created in the first place: to explore the human form with a different kind of energy than my well-known animal paintings. And after all these years, they still resonate.

This series deserves to breathe again. I’ll be sharing select pieces here, for they still matter greatly me today.
