SCHIELE INSPIRED
1982 - 1988

This series of photographs emerged from my mixed media project, Homage to Egon Schiele. Initially, they were never meant to stand alone. Yet, rediscovering them decades later, I saw them with fresh eyes—there was a raw intensity I hadn’t fully grasped at the time of their creation.

These images don’t just echo the tension and strength of Schiele’s iconic poses; they embody something even more profound—the undeniable power of the women within them. They are unguarded, exposed, yet utterly in control. Strength and vulnerability exist here in tandem, not as contradictions, but as declarations of presence, defiance, and truth.
